Australian teenagers’ mental health problems linked to vaping, study finds

A new study published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry shows Australian high school students with symptoms of severe depression or poor wellbeing are twice as likely to have tried vaping. Nicotine dependence can amplify feelings of depression, stress, and anxiety. We must do more to protect the health of our young people here, learning lessons from abroad.
